The United States Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC), Office of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) invites applications for funding for the FY05 Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia Research Program (CMLRP) Exploration Hypothesis Development Award (EHD).
The intent of the Exploration Hypothesis Development Award is to provide funds to support initial exploration of innovative, untested, potentially groundbreaking concepts in chronic myelogenous leukemia. Approximately $1.5 million (M) is available to fund the FY05 CMLRP Exploration Hypothesis Development Awards. Depending on the number and quality of the applications, it is anticipated that 10 proposals will be funded.
Funding for Exploration Hypothesis Development Awards can be requested for up to a maximum of $150,000 inclusive of direct and indirect costs for up to a 24-month performance period
Timelines for the CMLRP Exploration Hypothesis Development Award (EHD) proposals are as follows: Letter of Intent Expected by May17, 2005; Full Proposal Submission Deadline: June 7, 2005, 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Proposals must be submitted electronically at https://cdmrp.org. The website contains all the information, forms, documents, and links needed to apply. The CDMRP uses a two-tier review process for proposals: scientific peer review, followed by programmatic review. Details of both tiers of review can be found in the Full Text of Program Announcement.
